Sgurr Mor

Here's a blip of the Munro we didn't managed to bag today. We got very close to the top of Sgurr Beag, but it was too windy to continue and Ian thought I would be blown off the ridge. It was a very long drive and walk out to the hills, and so disappointing that we had to turn back. However, it was a good day's walking of almost eight hours with great views of the Knoydart mountains.

This root is from a very old tree which probably grew about 200 years ago and has recently been exposed to the elements. These hills are treeless now, but would once have been covered in deciduous forests.
