les canards

There have been a family of ducks in Les Pilles for the past couple of years. We've a great view of them now :)

Spent the morning trying to catch up on some rest, but that didn't happen!

Sablet this afternoon. Whilst I was ironing, Pierre nipped out and came back with these little duck salt and pepper shakers. I love them :)

Called in at mum's on the way back to pick up Coquine. Mum and Sarah had eaten gorgeous fillet steak for tea and mum gave Pierre and I some to take home.

We had steak, spuds and haricots verts out on the terrace.

In bed just now and have heard George from next door "bombing" the massive wasps' nest out the back. Pierre says there'll be a carpet of wasps on the ground tomorrow. Eeek!
