Caerphilly Castle
A cheese related blip for gastronomes the world over......
Built in 1923 not very far, within yards, of where she now rests. She used to pull the "fastest train in the world"; The Cheltenham Flyer, in the 1930s. She's housed at STEAM - the GWR museum in Swindon, in one of the sheds that made up the GWR's massive manufacturing and refurbishment base. Other sheds are now a designer outlet village.
From here we went to Salisbury to dine and then to Shaftsbury where Calum walked down and up Gold Hill.
Tis Friday! Home tomorrow with some steam train action on the way.
