Albertus Pictor

Albertus Pictor has painted this ceiling Dingtuna church. He was born in 1445 in Hesse, Germany. He was one of Sweden's most prominent church painters around the turn of 1500. His paintings are preserved in thirty-six churches [3] which six pictorial works are signed. [1] He ran a large workshop in Stockholm and was active mainly in Mälardalen. I think it's great to see it so well preserved.
