Pre-film

No photos today. Just one of a glass of wine prior to watching Pan's Labyrinth.
It really wasn't what I expected at all. Much more brutal & less fantastical that I imagined it to be.
There was, as there seems so frequently these days, a slight cross-word about the film choice.
I enjoyed it, but I don't know about Alex. He said that he didn't want to watch it in the first place so I wonder if he was pleasantly surprised or was predictably right with his preconceived opinion.
