Interesting bloom
My neighbour next door has a number of these growing on their property. I do not know the common name but they can be seen on the dividers between Sydney's motorways. They are drought resistant and are very hardy shrubs.
Normally they flower vertically as you would expect, but this particular one was impeded by the branch of an adjoining tree causing it to flower in a horizontal plane.
They are a favourite flower for the Indian Myna birds ( an introduced species that are a nuisance).
