Rock City, Nottingham, and as it says, 'The Uk's Best Live Music Venue'. The first gig I saw here was The Shamen, and we were all given whistles! It's a wonder I can still hear!

An intimate venue, no seating, a proper place to see the best, and over the years the best have been there...opening on the day John Lennon was shot, 11th December 1980, and the Undertones were the first band to play.

Since then, Nirvana, Muse, Killers, Foo's, Oasis, Blur have all appeared there. Still going strong today too. a brief history of Rock City

Took this picture on a night out in town, for Lukes last day. We had drinks at lunch too at the Dragon, then cocktails and a meal at Browns and then off for more cocktails.
