Fab Two

First stop of the day was Southport.

An amazing place - modern shopping centre with big name stores - wonderful old architecture - art and sculpture installations - especially along the waterfront - and a pier.

Then walked more of the Sefton Coastal Footpath before catching the train to St Michaels to visit Sefton Park in Liverpool - where we spent some time listening to Beatles Tribute Bands - who formed part of the Liverpool International Music Festival

Have to admit to being a Beatles fan in my youth - so I thoroughly enjoyed this free event - unfortunately I could only capture two members of this tribute band - Ringo and George perhaps
