Taking its own time...

The garden is overgrown and neglected - I admit it. Holiday, work and festival have conspired against my grand horticultural dreams of early spring. But of course, it does its own - very beautiful - thing, just fine without me and my attentions. Today it was the Nigella which caught my eye - the delicate fronds and gorgeous blue. Letting it all hang out, and take its own time, has much to recommend it.
