Common Buzzard

A frequent visitor to the valley and generally flying solo, I can often hear the peeee-uu call as the buzzard performs an aerial roller coaster display.
It rises high up in the sky, to turn and plummet downwards with its eye presumably on some juicy morsel it intends to catch and eat.
Closing the windows as the sea mist began to rise this evening, I saw this raptor alight on a tree nearby and stay just long enough for me to capture the shot.
