Butterfly bush

Since our neighbours cut down the cherry tree on the verge outside their house, we've let this buddleia grow quite large to shield us a bit from the view of the other houses in the street. This year it has been alive with butterflies and has been amazing to watch. I've seen more than 10 peacock butterflies on it at one time and couldn't even count the fast flying small and large white butterflies.

We'll have to hack it down soon before it blocks the path but it has been beautiful this summer.
