Explosives

This caught my eye earlier in the week. I did a bit of research and it is an oil bunker made in the early 1900. The remit was to construct something that was bomb proof to ensure the fleet always had oil to run on. Now it has to be removed for the new bridge over the Forth.
That means blowing up 1,000,000 tonnes of reinforced concrete (carefully).
The roof is 7.5 m thick and walls 8m. Over 2500 support columns diameter 1.5 m.
