Starting to turn...

This sedem in my garden has a habit of turning a very vibrant pink just as the summer holidays are drawing to an end. Week on week it gets more and more pink and becomes rather like a loud ticking clock! This year, it seems to be a little slower to turn, which is nice.
Today was supposed to be a lazy one after our exertions of the last few days. It didn't turn out that way, but we enjoyed ourselves all the same.
