Such a lazy day.

Our Saturday Morning Movie - the first since holidays began - was October Sky.

I'd never seen it before, but I really liked it. so did Betsy but Al found it slow and a bit boring. It's the story of four boys who are so inspired by the Sputnik satellite they decide to build their own rocket. They soon begin to see that their interest in science could lead to a college scholarship, and perhaps give them an an opportunity to be something other than miners like their fathers. It's based on a true story.

In the evening we watched Jurassic Park 2. It's pretty bad and we all enjoyed it!
