Pansy with raindrop

It's been raining for most of the afternoon, but not nearly as heavily as forecast (yet). This little pansy is still blooming as brightly as ever, even though there is no sun.

We get our daughter's dog Biskit again tomorrow for a week while the family goes off to Eurodisney. They are taking the caravan she has just been learning to tow. Son-in-law returns from Tanzania (where he has been working) tomorrow so hopefully he will do some of the driving. In a couple of weeks time he starts a new contract, this time in Denmark, and will be working 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, instead of the 6 week rotation he has been working in Africa.

So Biskit will make our life chaos again for a few days. We love him to bits and I don't think it will be too long before we get another dog of our own - we have not had a dog since our German Shepherds over 30 years ago, but we still miss them terribly.
