CarFest south

Mr H and I had a splendid day out today at CarFest in Hampshire. As fans of Chris Evans breakfast show on Radio Two and fans of his generous and enthusiastic spirit, it wasn't a difficult decision to get tickets for this amazing festival in aid of Children in Need.
We saw some amazing cars (from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to Chris's magnificent seven), ate delicious food, watched racing cars on the hill climb and diggers and red barrows dancing. Overhead we watched the Red Arrows, Chinooks doing acrobatics, a Lancaster and a Spitfire chasing through the sky.
Later we watched Alfie Boe, Ocean Colour Scene and Keane in the music arena. Oh and did I mention were part of the crowd for his radio show this morning ? A great day !
