Bellevue Library

The Seattle area is one of the most well-read cities in the nation. I don't know if its because the gloom of winter keeps us all at home with a good book but we still have some great book stores and a fantastic public library system. Our local library is so well-used that they had to build an additional parking structure next to the library. I felt like it was a shame because the entrance was so dramatic before the parking structure went up. The architects were clever, and the entrance is now a very interesting space. There is a lot of public art at the library and this young man was installing, what looked like license plates.
