The Strathaven Glow

This is the Strathaven Balloon Festival weekend and on the Saturday night they have the evening glow. The balloons are tethered but inflated at sunset and the gas canisters are used to light up the proceedings. Before this happens there was a concert by a new band called itunes.

A good range of music was played during the glow- The Dambusters March, the Liberty Bell by Sousa and the Bond theme amongst others. Of course it opened with the theme from 2001. We were promised the most impressive night in Strathaven and we were not disappointed.
