You Wanted What...?

...coffee? Oh...the sticks!

Walking with Ozzie and his sticks is never dull. If there is only one stick, he won't give it up, so OilMan has determined that three is the perfect number for optimum success--one for OilMan, one for Ozzie and one for the game of fetch.

The problem with three sticks is carrying them. He won't let us carry them, but he can spend a lot of time putting the sticks down, because he wants to chew on them, or because he is tired, or because he has inhaled part of the stick, and picking them up can be a time consuming business. If he picks up the big stick first, he can't get hold of the smaller ones. If the sticks are on a hard surface, he has trouble getting his mouth around them. If they are too splintered, they leave the splinters in our hands. If they are rotten or covered with lichen he doesn't like them.

This morning OilMan disappeared into his shed for awhile and came out with three hand hewn goldilocks' sticks ....not too fat, not too skinny, all the same diameter., nice and clean..they were juuust right.

If only he could will them from OilMan's hand to his mouth without jumping on him, knocking him down or grabbing the sticks AND his hand....
