Feathery flower

This is Phylica plumosa, known as flannel bush or featherhead. We have a large bush growing in our garden, and it has been self-seeding into the rock mulch we have around our South African, mainly protea, section. If I remember correctly, our original bush died, so the shrub that this flower is one was self-sown.
