David Byrne and St Vincent

went to a concert of David Byrne and St Vincent. Always have been a fan of Talking Heads and Byrne since I first heard Slippery People on the radio in 1984.
David Byrne started the show by telling that pictures and recording movie or audio-files are allowed during the show as long as you do not hold a tablet in front of other people so that they can enjoy the show for real. Of course many people did and I took a few at the end, but enjoyed the show without my camera.
They played together with a brass band and many numbers of their album 'Love this Giant'. The cooperation with St Vincent works very well, she is a performer I need to check out. Byrne also played a few Talking Heads numbers transcribed for the same brass band that was very original. When he performed 'Burning down the house' all people stood up danced wildly. A very good concert!
