A Crafty Kind of Day

My best friend is a very talented singer and has written and recorded a lot of brilliant songs. Today we burned them to a CD and made a little case for it, and she wants to sell them. She is already selling downloads of her songs on iTunes! Using a Cornflake box, PVA glue, a craft knife and a helpful YouTube video, we made a lovely little home for the CD, using an old photograph I took a while ago as the cover art. It even opens up to reveal a little message! This was only the rough copy, and we are going to buy some nice card and glossy photograph paper to make the real things.

The night before, we stayed up late, which means we only got up at midday! Here my friend is in her pyjamas, because we literally woke up, made some coffee, and then cracked on with making the case! We didn't have breakfast or lunch till quite late, when we realised we hadn't eaten, so my friend made delicious fried eggs and Quorn sausages.
