Helsinki happenings

A day off today, so after a lovely long sleep and a quiet apartment to myself this morning, I went downtown. Plenty of street performers out today! Tried very hard to take a picture of this guy but trying to photo a bubble is (at least for me) nigh-on impossible! Must get more practice. IF ANYONE HAS TIPS I WELCOME THEM!! :)

Went for a stroll in the park (which was supposed to be peaceful but I ended up walking into the Helsinki dog show). Then to one of the lovely, if slightly expensive cafes on Pohjoisesplanadi to write a couple of postcards home. Back home now enjoying the sun from the balcony and listening to Jukka Poika. Feeling very summery!
