A sea of deckchairs

August Bank Holiday Sunday in Scarborough has been like the busy times of old, as the warm sunshine brought thousands of people flocking to the seaside town. <br />
There's something peculiarly British about the deckchair, it's striped material adding flashes of colour over the golden sands.<br />
Now fingers crossed for Bank Holiday Monday...

PS, you see that white pleasure cruiser in the background. Well turns out it had just run aground, stranded. I managed to miss some great rescue pics as the lifeboat launched to ferry passengers away. Doh! Note to self, switch on news sense again!
