Rollercoaster Weekend
Yesterday was euphoria. Reaching Paris brought the usual smile to my face, pulling out of Victor Hugo metro stop on the escalator under the night lights and trees which overhang the red brasserie with the rude waiters. The last week was so good I couldn’t help feeling overwhelmingly happy. I dunno why it’s important to write it here, but I think it is. I hung out with my granddad all morning and early afternoon. Sad to leave him and Paris after less than 24 hours, again at Victor Hugo metro stop, but I had a great time with him.
Erika and me managed to organize a last minute meet up at Gare du Nord before my train to London. Two years and a half later, discussing over a beer things like Paris, uni and her being a trophy wife. Too bad we couldn’t see each other for longer, chances are we aren’t meeting up again for a long time. It’s always good to see friends in Paris!
Then, another goddamn ride in the Eurostar. This time I looked at the view a bit more, but mainly reflected and edited up all the photos from sailing. Tomorrow I leave for Uganda.
I made it to the London house, where I was greeted by Geoff, who’s always a great guy to talk to. Kris made it there soon after and we headed out to Royal Oak for some Chinese food, recommended by Geoff and his girlfriend. Needless to say it was delicious and worth it! This is a photo from there. What a contrast to where I was and where I'm going. Final packing starts tomorrow and the flight leaves in the evening.

The last couple of weeks have been majorly backblipped. Needless to say the next five in Uganda will as well. I’d appreciate it if you went back and checked out the photos! For Switzerland, start here. For sailing in the south of France, start here. Let me know what you think, there’s some photos I’m very proud of!!!
Until next time, peace out everybody
