Weekend

This is how I spend part of every weekend in the football season - refereeing at least one and generally two games. This is the home of Basford United where I had been appointed to the Trentside / Adelaide pre-season "friendly" fixture. The inverted commas are because nominally "friendly" games sometimes lapse into encounters that are rather less than friendly - but not so on this occasion, happy to say.
