...the view from my bedroom window in evening light. Today I spent nearly an hour taking cuttings, picking tomatoes and emptying the flooded cold frame whilst the Head Gardener dead headed pansies and geraniums, still not a vast amount of time spent out there. Tomorrow lawns will need mowing and I will find some odd jobs to do but I've even surprised myself at how little time we've accumulated.
There is a sense that autumn is on the way, the nights are drawing in and its certainly darker in the mornings. The glorious autumn colours will soon delight us and then there's the thrill of choosing the bulbs for next year!
