Gauxholme Bridge

After a damp start to the bank holiday weekend, it was back to summer today. Took a stroll along the canal to Todmorden, busy with walkers, cyclists, boats, ducks and geese all enjoying the sunshine. This is the impressive cast iron railway bridge at Gauxholme, built by George Stephenson in 1840, with fancy turrets on either side.
