The Beach at Mellon Udrigle

Such a nice day this afternoon, so we went west, to the coast. This is the beach at Mellon Udrigle by Aultbea in Wester Ross. The sands were silver mingled with red sandstone rocks, add the green of the maram grass and vivid blues of the sea and sky and it is another beach to add to my collection. It hasn't changed a lot since I was there thirty years ago! The Mountains of Ross-shire are in the distance!
