Took Etta up to Shirley's

Eva had another slightly unsettled night last night waking up twice I think it was. Again, a quick feed, wind and cuddle and she went back to bed and sleep each time, but she never used to do it so still not sure why it is.

Today's pic is a montage of Eva wearing the cute little outfit my mom bought her the other day. (love her little facial expression in the 2nd one, my little comedienne)

Mike got Eva washed and dressed this morning, while I got myself ready, as I had to leave around 10.30 to set off for Shirley's house to take Etta to stud, and Eva was staying home with Daddy.

What should have been a just over 2 hour journey, ended up taking 3 and a half hours! Blummin' M6!

Was great to have a catch up with Shirley and see her beautiful cats, and have a sneaky peek at some stunning Sibby kittens. Etta seemed fine with her boyfriend, and he was being the perfect gent and letting her get settled in. I stayed about 3 hours but easily could have stayed longer, but I had to get back as I wanted to put Eva to bed myself, as I always do. I set off at 5.15 pm and was home pretty much by 2 hours later.

I was so excited to see Eva, but I got in and Mike had already bathed her and put her in bed as she'd been so tired as had only slept for 40 minutes since I'd gone, and hadn't really had much milk either as she isn't great with a bottle, so she had gone to sleep without a feed :-( I needn't have worried, as soon as I walked into the bedroom, her eyes pinged open and she gave me the biggest grin when she saw me. My heart melted there and then, I love her so so so so much I cannot even put it into words. I gave her a big, huge feed (which was also a relief for me, as I thought I was about to explode, as I hadn't fed her all day) and she snuggled off back to sleep. Xxxx
