Festival: street

part of the festival is not just the paid for shows but the guys that get out onto the street and perform for free (or what they collect in a hat). This is what enables open access to everyone in the city centre - and incredibly frustrating to us locals when we want to get to meetings in a hurry - but nonetheless creates a vibrancy in the city. Don't just walk by but stop and give them a bit of your hurried day. In my case this was a Saturday so more opportunity to stop and watch.
