Curiosity

Met up with our great friends Ben & Vanessa today and their two children. We decided to meet half way between each of our homes and Ben found a pub in a quaint village. After lunch in the pub we went for a wander to explore the village.
Our walk took us around the church and through the graveyard.

Little N was fascinated by the gravestones and asked daddy to read her each of the names. She made us smile with her comment, "Daddy, I want to see the person in this one."
This made us think; how soon should a child be told about a death? Surely we should be open and honest with children when they show an interest and ask us questions?
