August Challenge: Day 25 .....

Oops!

While R was out driving yesterday he kept seeing several pink fire trucks. And we saw them again while we were both out last night. Had absolutely no clue what the deal was!

Well, this morning he had to run out to the store and he saw them again! This time he was able to speak to someone about them. He found out that the trucks belong to an organization called Pink Fire Trucks. Our local fire company is applying to be a chapter member and that's why the trucks are in our area. And that they were going to be at the Nazareth community park this afternoon.

Well, as a breast cancer survivor I just knew that we had to go up there to support the cause. My photo is a montage of one of the fire trucks and the bus that accompanies the trucks on their travels. The gentleman in the pink fireman's suit is Seth ~ he told me all about the organization and let me sign the inside of this fire truck. So, now my name will be part of this great organization spreading the work that there's hope for a cure.

And that leads me to my oops! My oops is that I am posting for tomorrow's challenge topic of hope/hopeful today!
