Dodging Rain Drops

The highlight of our day...dodging raindrops at the Blackberry Arts Festival! Dashing under awnings and into booths, enjoying tamales and scones, fudge and kettle corn, visiting with the vendors and laughing with strangers! My kind of day :-)

We borrowed our "daughter-for-a-day-few hours", who has proven over and over again, to be a very good sport! She kept up with our eating frenzie...and dashing through the rain...quite nicely!

Lower left, you'll see our wandering "Sweet Adeline's"...at least we believe that is who they are. They maintained wonderful harmonies and great energy as they wandered down the midway, serenading the drowning masses. The day was warm enough to tolerate a little rain without enduring chattering teeth...this is a good thing!
