Marigold Blossom

The summer season is on the wane.

We’ve begun to plan and to plant our “winter” garden.

This year we hope to take advantage of the mild winter here in the Willamette Valley.

We have chosen “winter” varieties of several veggies that should extend our gardening fun significantly.

The marigolds we planted in and around our veggies have provided us with a beautiful show of flowers.

I like the “popped” appearance of this variety’s blossoms.
