Pussy Willow Flowers

We arrived back in Blenheim last night after a very busy weekend in the Karamea area on the West Coast. The first thing I did last night was to download images captured at the weekend and choose two to “back Blip”. The unpacking had to wait…. Blip came first!
So today I was back into the usual routine of dog-walking in the morning. There is a digger at the ford over the Taylor River. A lot of flood and earthquake damage had been sustained. Half of the concrete slab across the ford has disappeared. I look forward to seeing the repairs. Hopefully we will once again have access over the river to the true left bank.
I came across another pussy willow tree along the river. It is in full flower with bees busy collecting the pollen. The “flowers” are most interesting when seen close-up. They feature in today’s blip.
