Fiery sunset

It's days like this that I wish I knew rather a lot more about my camera than I do!! If I did I may have been able to capture the absolute magnificence of this sky. When I was coming home from Maclean late this afternoon the sun was a huge red ball in the sky, all around it was a deep orange ring and it was absolutely stunning. However my photo is a very watered down version of the real thing unfortunately. I'm not sure if the smoke was coming from a sugar cane burn off or a small bushfire.
