Kirkstall Abbey

My friend Jackie took me to Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds this afternoon. A lovely Cistercian monastery open to the public for free. There is a gift shop and tea room as well as a museum but I think there is a charge for that. Nice to see many young families making use of the facilities and the green area close by.

Then back to my house for lunch and Lottie and Ben rough and tumbled for over two hours. Lottie is now fast asleep on the sofa!!
