Cyclone
The sun seemed to bring lots of people to the City Centre today. It's not a Bank Holiday in Scotland today, as it is in England, but there seemed to be a distinct holiday vibe about town. Around midday I headed down Buchanan Street to head for the Teacher Building at St Enoch's for a one-day conference, and there was a queue winding all the way around into Sauchiehall Street from HMV Music Store. I think a superstar was in town, of the boy-band variety (I'd never heard of him so I kept on walking). When I was leaving St Enoch's late afternoon Buchanan Street was swarming and the sun was beating down, so I took my time and paused every now and then to take some shots.
