A challenge

At home again today, and it has been a good day for gardening. Sunny but not too hot, with a gentle breeze. The soil is just right after Saturday and Sunday's rain. But, as you see, we have a challenging job to do in the garden. Our new neighbours over the wall are clearing their garden and have poisoned a vigorous ivy that the previous owners had allowed to climb up into the trellis on top of the 7 ft wall. Now we have to get rid of this unsightly mess. The strong ivy stems are twisted through the trellis and much of the problem is above where we have our compost heaps so is difficult to reach. We are tempted to ask them to come and clear it for us!
