To Keep a Sharp Eye Out

This magnificent carving of an owl was commissioned by our neighbours a few years ago.

They had had a tree cut down and the sculptor used a chain saw to fashion what you now see from the remaining stump.

Needless to say it is a great favourite with children. It also causes me some amusement too, as I cycle or walk past in the early morning.
