Happy Days

Today is Mum's birthday, she would have been 82.  The image is a detail from an autobiographical mixed-media collage (2010) which uses family photos e.g.:  wedding and this snap of Mum, Dad and me on holiday in France in 2004.  Happy Days.

Today began with a Department Head's Committee meeting and so signifies the official start of the new academic year.  I hope that we all have a great 2013-2014 school year and I wish everyone many, many Happy Days.
