Biddulph ....

Today was about keeping busy as it was my dad's operation - no bank holiday in Germany today! To stop me from pacing we went to Biddulph gardens.
Gardens were absolutely beautiful with Bateman's collection of rare trees.
Of course we had to try out the tea room and sample the scones .... I swear when I grow up I will write a review book of tea rooms, judging each on the quality oh their scones!

The afternoon was spent doing edging of the lawn and weeding ....at home that is not biddulph gardens! until I finally got the call to say that my dads op went well. More nasty stuff removed... More samples of surrounding areas taken ... now more waiting for those results to come back!!
