Balloon Maze

First day of the All-Energy conference in Aberdeen. 3000 people turned up from all over the world. Aberdeen is trying to establish itself as the renewable energy centre of the world in anticipation of the dwindling North Sea oil industry.

In the evening, they had put on some circus acts, with ladies swinging on trapezes, jugglers and magicians. It was supposed to be an interactive networking evening. This is the balloon bending lesson. Thrilling.

But it was in a big dark hall and it was the nicest evening of the year so far, so we left the middle-aged executives getting drunk and oggling at the burlesque ladies, while we hit the town.
