Well, it makes a change from butterflies. This Green Man was watching us carefully as we walked through Shipley Glen this afternoon.

It's getting quieter for butterflies, apart from a resurgence of Spotted Woods. Still one or two Small Heaths about, but the Ringlets, Skippers, Meadow Browns and Gatekeepers have all been absent since we returned from our short trip.
