Shots 2 Woeking 1

We drove back early from the Lake District this morning to ensure we were back in time for the local derby. We haven't played Woeking for about 5 years, when we played them 4 times in the season and won all four games.

Big crowd today, and the East Bank were in fine voice. Matt Paterson put the Mighty Shots ahead after 23 seconds, and we didn't look back. Wave after wave of Shots attack, and we went 2-0 up after 20 minutes. We then had a goal disallowed and numerous chances that were cleared off the line, or just missed the goal. This is Aaron Wickham nodding a header just over the bar.

Dodgy penalty conceded - our keeper definitely got the ball and their player fell over him - the referee had a bit of a mare today, but the Shots were rampant. up to -3 points now!
