chives seed pod

Late getting off work today, which makes for a long day there & a short day @ home. I went to the back yard for today's blip. The seed heads for my patch of chives have been dried for quite a while, but some of them, like this one, still have some seeds left to drop. My chives were started a couple of years ago from a small pot of them that my step-daughter gave me, & have spread to an area about 2 feet in diameter! Love to use them in salads & in chili. :)
