Long tailed tit

These chaps were tweeting in the bushes all day. I've tried to prevent the squirrel from stealing the fat by securing the roof with a tie wrap and the whole thing is secured to the tree with another. While writing this I have realised that I have not seen him for a while. I wonder if he is ok?

Mr F and I worked in the garden this afternoon. He is digging out an old tree that will be replaced with the Acer. As he was doing the heavy work I was trusted with the shredder. I've never been allowed to use it before. There are no photos but I was wearing ear defenders, a face mask and pearl earrings

The Acer is still in its pot. The old tree is proving obstinate
