Best Laid Plans

Well, it just wouldn't be an Albion transfer window if everything went according to plan. Tragically, a lifelong friend of Nicolas Anelka has died this week and the bereavement has prompted talk of immediate retirement from our marquee signing of the summer. While sending our best wishes to Nico in what must be a terrible time for him, I can't help but feel we need a plan B to fall back on. We're in for an interesting week or two.
