Daylight robbery

After helping clear out the wife's office we found a few things we could flog on eBay for some extra $$

Cue selling two old HP inkjet cartridges. Made $100 for the two. Now comes the bad part. eBay takes its 10%. Ok fair enough. They also have a postage estimator. I used the template from the same item being sold already by someone else and the estimator (seeing as I couldn't weigh the package) said it would be around $3 each to send snail mail USPS. Went to the post office today and cheapest way of sending it was UPS courier for $12 each!

So we are down $35 on our $100. I guess it's free money and probably wouldn't have made as much on auction if had higher postage. But you don't pay eBay % sales on postage. So would have made more done that way. Lesson learnt!

Still ill. Football tomorrow looks doubtful. The wife working at home this week so she has been giving me lifts to work.
